"In Fall of 2017, I discovered the sport on a trip to Asheville and played my first round with an ultimate disc. I couldn't par any of the holes so I knew something wasn't right. Eventually, I realized there were special discs for this sport. I bought my first starter pack in 2018 and quickly got hooked!"
"I’m very passionate about this game and want to help develop the skills of others and grow the sport. I'm humbled to be a representative of this sport and be called a leader for our club."

"I was introduced to disc golf by my friend, Bryan Schaupp, and my best friend from college, Dave Laney, in 2015 and was hooked almost immediately."

"My co-worker, Devin, invited me to play at Hagood Mill with his Innova Starter Kit in Nov 2020. Little did I know, I would become addicted to this sport after picking it back up in March 2021 to escape lifes trials and tribulations."

"I was introduced to "Frisbee Golf" at an early age where my parents would take me to a our local Golf course where they had 18 holes that were posts with numbers set up - not basket! It wasn't until I returned from my military deployment to visit my parents and played Disc Golf in Lake Tahoe. After that, I was hooked! I played my first competition in 2021 in Fayetteville, NC."

"I got into disc golf around 7 months ago when my father-in-law invited me to go try it out one day. My brother was also a very big influence, and he had been trying to talk me into playing for a while so I finally gave it a shot! Needless to say, I'm pretty hooked on it now."
"I hope that the club will be beneficial in growing the sport in Oconee County and that we can provide opportunities for players of all skill levels to participate and play the game we all love. I'm excited to be a part of the club, and the future is very bright!"

"In1995, I was a bystander at Pendleton King Disc Golf Park, where I asked a guy what he was doing throwing a frisbee at a basket. Before I knew it, I was playing with the Augusta Disc Golf Association under the direction of Brian Graham. Our family relocated to Oconee County in 1998 where I had to travel to GA just to play a round. In 2005 Shaver OG was installed and I got my one and only ace on hole 1!"
